The Opportunity

We are looking for creative, passionate and energetic individuals to support our governmental design, commercial clients, and program work as Mechanical Engineers. This individual will prepare project deliverables ensuring compliance with all company, client and industry standards for commercial and retail building construction projects.

The ideal candidate is resourceful and inquisitive, has a passion for great architecture, wants to help foster long-term client relationships through exemplary service, and believes that projects should be tailored to the client’s needs.

Specific job responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Prepares and completes Mechanical Engineering designs that are responsive to project needs.
  2. Prepares HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection plans and specifications.
  3. Provides HVAC design options with knowledge of the associated pros, cons, and costs.
  4. Design coordination with other disciplines and estimators.
Preferred qualifications include:

  • Professional Engineering License
  • Min. 10 years of professional experience
  • Experience with LEED requirements
  • Proficiency with REVIT and/or AutoCAD
  • Experiences with energy modeling, software such as COMcheck, Trane TRACE 700, Carrier HAP, etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and reviewing authorities
  • Experience in all phases of design and construction administration
