The Opportunity

We are looking for creative, passionate and energetic individuals to support our governmental design, commercial clients, and program work as   Manager | Mechanical Engineering. This individual will prepare project deliverables ensuring compliance with all company, client and industry standards for commercial and retail building construction projects.

The ideal candidate is resourceful and inquisitive, has a passion for great architecture, wants to help foster long-term client relationships through exemplary service, and believes that projects should be tailored to the client’s needs.

Specific job responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Provide mechanical design budgets for client proposals.
  2. Coordinate project requirements with the Project Architect and other disciplines.
  3. Manage the design workload among department staff, perform employee evaluations.
  4. Perform Pre-design site surveys for renovation Projects.
  5. Prepares HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection plans and specifications.
Preferred qualifications include:

  • Professional Engineering License with the ability to acquire more licenses for other states using an NCEES record
  • Min. 5 years of professional experience
  • Proficiency with REVIT and/or AutoCAD
  • Experience with modeling software such as COMcheck, Tran TRACE 700, Carrier HAP, etc.
  • Experience with LEED requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and reviewing authorities
  • Experience with managing subordinate engineers, engineering technicians, and drafters
