The Opportunity

We are looking for creative, passionate and energetic individuals to support our governmental design, commercial clients, and program work as Project Architects. This individual would lead the development of comprehensive construction documents, working closely with Bowen senior management, consultants, and clients.

The ideal candidate is resourceful and inquisitive, has a passion for great architecture, wants to help foster long-term client relationships through exemplary service, and believes that projects should be tailored to the client’s needs.

Specific job responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Develops design and technical solutions under general direction of Project Manager / Director.
  2. Assists in project management tasks such as developing project scope, work plans, schedules, staffing needs, monitoring work progress, and managing requests for scope changes.
  3. Ensures effective communication of project requirements, established presentation and quality control procedures to team members, and coordinates meetings and communications with Project Manager, other disciplines and outside consultants regarding project issues and/or technical coordination in project development.
  4. Ensures technical appropriateness and constructability of all documents and presentations, and provides technical expertise and guidance to project team including reviewing design concepts and recommending modifications or variations to simplify design and/or further develop typical design elements.
  5. Produces construction documents under general direction of Project Manager / Director.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • A professional degree
  • Architectural registration
  • Proficiency in design software including: REVIT, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhino
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and reviewing authorities
  • Experience in all phases of design and construction administration
  • Flexibility for Travel
  • Experience within any or all of our sectors of practice
