Rocky River Police Station

Bowen led a detailed facility assessment and programming study of the Rocky River Police Station. The assessment began with a feasibility analysis of all building systems and structures. Bowen then distributed needs assessment questionnaires to key stakeholders and department heads. These questionnaires led to workshops and tours of neighboring police stations to develop a Program of Requirements.

Bowen presented initial concepts to the City, offering a cost analysis of each option and made a recommendation weighing short-term and long-term costs and performance.

These concepts have led to the design of a new police station, garage, and detention center on the existing site. The upgraded station will increase and modernize space for all departments. The project also includes landscaping and ADA renovations to the adjacent City Hall, creating a unified and improved Civic Campus.
