Multiple U.S. Locations
A facilities upgrade program that also supports improved health and well-being of residents
Bowen leads a renovation program for low-income housing properties owned by Jonathan Rose Companies (JRC). The goal of each renovation is to add twenty years of life to the sites while bringing the facilities in line with JRC’s mission to build communities of opportunity for all that improve health and well-being (physical, mental, financial, social and spiritual). Facilities emphasize community space and programming that can enhance the connections between people and the pathways to opportunity
Work at each location begins with a complete forensic investigation of all facilities and building systems and a review of all existing drawings and other relevant materials. Bowen leads the creation of construction documents, coordination with the contractor, and provides construction administration. A major goal of the project is the creation of a protoypical design that can be implemented at all locations.
