A collaboration between multiple stakeholders creates an integrated multimodal transit hub
Bowen designed a multimodal transportation facility that reflects a joint effort between the Butler County Regional Transit Authority, the City of Oxford, and Miami University of Ohio to create a unique and efficient hub for transportation and community connections. For the public, the new facility will include a bus concourse providing passenger connections to BCRTA services and regional buses, the Miami campus, and a future Amtrak station. The new facility will also serve as a new administrative center for BCRTA. A new bus storage and maintenance component will feature six bays of vehicle storage, two maintenance bays, two diesel fueling lanes, and a bus wash facility. This project is under construction, with an anticipated completion date of October 2025.
