The Opportunity
We are looking for a creative, motivated, and energetic individual to support our construction design for our civic, commercial, and retail clients as an Electrical Engineer. This individual will prepare project construction documents ensuring compliance with all company, client, and industry standards for building construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have a Professional Engineer license and have a minimum of three years of related work experience. Software skills required include proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office. This position requires someone who is detail oriented, organized and has excellent communication skills.
Preferred qualifications include:
- A minimum of three years in the construction design and/or construction administration fields.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Experiences with electrical design software such as Visual, COMcheck and Title 24 Compliance.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, building codes, and energy codes.
- Experience in all phases of construction design such as power & lighting, fire alarm, emergency power generators, elevators, data networks, and security/access control/CCTV systems.
- Experience with construction administration including submittal review, site visits, progress reports, meeting minutes, and responding to requests for information.
