Columbus, Ohio
The culmination of more than 10 years of planning and renovation
The Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) helps move thousands of people daily. Their McKinley Ave. facility enables the storage, maintenance, and fueling of the vital assets the community relies on every day. Our work at this facility began with a comprehensive assessment and master plan, followed by phased renovations that brought in two CNG fueling stations, a new driver and training addition, and a bus wash. 15 years of phased renovation projects culminate in this most recent phase: reimagining the site’s primary administration, public engagement, and maintenance functions. A dynamic entrance, elegant paneling, and thoughtful site enhancements transform a utilitarian space into a vibrant hub that nurtures community and sustainability.
