Adaptive re-use into luxury living on Cleveland’s east side

Bowen leads the design for this conversion of a former skilled nursing facility into luxury apartments. The 128,000 SF facility will boast 150 units in a mix of studio and one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments.

The design goal is to create “2.0 living”. This approach enhances the services and the community aspects of the space by offering best-in-market shared amenities.

A new first floor restaurant will become a trademark feature of the new complex. In addition to serving guests in its dining room, the restaurant’s kitchen will make on demand meals that residents can enjoy in their units.

Outdoor amenities will including a pool, garden, dog park and rooftop patio. The building will also boast indoor fitness and wellness amenities.
